Housekeepers today, so I’ve been rounding up the recycling and making sure the clutter is put away so they can clean. We had a different pair of cleaners last week, so I am curious to see who comes today.
It’s somewhat overcast today, kinda hazy sunshine. Still, it’s supposed to get up to 62 today (50 at the moment).
I looked up this year’s Super Bowl this morning. It’s being played in the Rams’ home stadium. One wonders how many times that has happened. Not often I would think. They decide where the game will be months, if not years in advance, and who would have thought that the Rams would actually be IN the game. And no, I have no intention of watching the game. The cute commercials will be available the next day online if I really wanted to see them.
Ooh, I just thought of something. One of the teams is always designated the “home” team no matter where they play. Wouldn’t it be a kick if the Bengals were declared the “home” team in the Rams’ home stadium.
Michael says that one of the teams (he doesn’t know which one) announced that even if they made it all the way to the Super Bowl, they wouldn’t go because of California’s strict mask mandates. Wouldn’t that put a monkey wrench into the works. What would ESPN do, show the other team playing themselves? LOL
A dear friend passed away from Covid yesterday. He’d been on a ventilator for a week. Please pray for Tom’s family.
