Yesterday turned out just about as planned. We got a very thorough evaluation of some of the problems around here and good suggestions on how to deal with it. I’ve already been in touch with the other board members and let them know.
In other HOA news, when I took the HVAC contractor over to the exercise room to evaluate what we need, the room reeked of what I call “skunk weed”. It is that really stinky marijuana that smells like a skunk. It was really bad. I never thought I would have to tell homeowners that smoking weed isn’t allowed in the public rooms, but I wrote a newsletter article that will be sent out in early December doing just that.
Today I need to call my doctor’s office again and push to get my prescription that I have been waiting for a month and a half. My doctor has quit this clinic (this is her last week) and I think she checked out mentally about the time she put in her notice. She’s the one who wants me on the lower dose, so she’s the one who needs to make sure I get the medicine. This will be the 4th phone call (plus two in-person visits) since about 11/4.
The other chore for the day is to find out when our hearing aids will be back from the manufacturer after having the batteries replaced. She said 1 1/2 weeks and it’s been more than two weeks.
Other than that, it’s a “bye” day. Nothing in particular planned.
It’s 47 outside on its way to 58. We’re in a warming trend – the overnight was 42. Blue skies and sunshine. Nice in the fall, winter and spring, not so much in the summer.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
