Modern day 4th of July arcs are incredibly boring to read while they’re still being made, because nothing changes. Sure, some things change, like types of rides and carnies, or people going on the rides, but it’s the same format done every year. And we have to wait 24 hours for each strip, so it’s a pain. Peirce, I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, but please end the strip. It’s always the same jokes done over and over again, and even when something interesting happens, it’s usually overshadowed by a terrible arc. I remember a Valentine’s Day arc that took over 2 months!
1.5/10 Several things give this strip such a negative rating. Using the same joke about overloading on food before intense rides, the fact that they talked to the carnie for three days before going on the ride, and using Chad as a lame comedy tool.
