    I chatted with someone today who said back in the day and she was in her 40s. I do say back in MY day and I’m 75. So it’s true.

    I have to say “Back in my day” otherwise there are too many other days it could have been and people ask me to clarify which day it was.

    When my kid was in orientation for college, a senior gave a talk about the school. He talked about every thing that had changed since his orientation. Even if it was from even a year ago, he’d preface with “back in the day,…”
