    So true. Way too many options. I just use what the dentist tells me to use, which something I buy at the dentist.

    Always , always look for anti-bacterial. At age 58 still no cavities. Also Mentos gum. Sweetener has anti-bacterial.

    Going down the toothpaste aisle at WalMart is exactly like this! Can there really be that many formulas for toothpaste? I do look for the ADA recommended one though. Surprisingly many aren’t.

    My dentist said it doesn’t matter, except for fluoride. Buy what’s on sale or whatever you like. It’s a good brushing that counts.

    You want one with sodium flouride and a minimum of nasty dyes and sundry chemicals. Or if you really value your dental health, go listen to Ellie Phillips, a dentist on Youtube.
