Really don’t understand the appeal of SpongeBob… and this is coming from someone who loved Ren & Stimpy as a pre-teen.

Doesn’t “The Simpsons” count? I think that show is in its 35th season or something like that. Perhaps the writer does not consider it a children’s TV show.

Even at 76, this year, I like the Arthur shows and have watched them every so often for years.
