I hate that all cartoonists eventually fall to golf jokes. As in, “I’d rather be playing golf than sitting at this drawing board!”

Oh my gawd it is spring. Right now it is 7:30 am here. I just looked it up, spring started at 5:01 am. Two and a half hours ago.

He just made his ant mound too high. In Spring, near the Golf Club, it’s better to lay low.

I’m sure it wasn’t intentional. Does he get relief from the lie?

It’s about to get worse, he has to play it as it lies.

Except for my spring allergies, which kcked in today-first day of spring. They will last until the summer humidity kicks in to make most of us miserable. Then the fall allergies are activated. Then the cold weather enervates me, so that I don’t do anything but stay inside where it’s warm.

Around here that ant mound would be Fire Ants. It’s about time for their return to mound building. (Hate them things.)
