1. I took my troubles down to Uncle Benny,You know that guy that let me pawn my gold-capped tooth.

2. He forgot that gift, now he forgot those gifts.

3. Bozo is breaking into the window business.

1. Gold filled or gold cap?

2. Forgetful chap, isn’t he?

3. That was paneful.

1 – All that running away from the cop, I guess Bozo could be a Marathon Man.

1. $3000 an ounce.

1– With the money Bozo gets by selling the gold in his teeth he might be able to pay the dentist to fix them again.

2– I was 11 when this was published and I remember that not everything came in its own box back then. A sales clerk would wrap the purchase with paper and string, as illustrated in many of the Bozo strips.

3– Enough practice Bozo. Now do it for real. And clean up the glass too.

1- Once Bozo bit into a gold coin to see if it was real, well it chipped and there is a bit still stuck between his teeth.

2- Aren’t you forgetting something… again?

3- I remember my dad replacing a glass and putting mastic around it to hold it in place. Those were the days before thermos windows.

1. Bozo is flat busted. The man still has some pride. Takes himself to Benny’s and there he opens wide.

2. The man he drops a package. Bozo helps out with it. With the parcel thus secured, all else he does forget.

3. Bozo he does place and caulk. Hard at work again. Fumbles with the ladder. That glass sure is a pane.

Uncle Benny is paying for Old Gold’s but Bozo brought in a cigar .

1) How much will you give me for this gold-capped incisor?

2) For want of a package, a bag was lost.

3) Great, now Bozo’s gotta go back for a new window!

1. Well Bozo in hurry and tooth fairy pays too less see.

2. At it’s Professor Forgetsoon eh.

But it always a pleasure to watch Fabulous FoXo’s Brilliant BOZO!

For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.

An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!

FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

Great detail in Strip 1!

I miss proper pawn shops, they’ve all turned into “we buy gold” shops now. The last one near me had a Snap On KRA58C tool box that I had my eye on. One day I decided to make him a lowball offer. Instead, there was a new owner who wanted everything that wasn’t jewelry or high end watches out of the store, he offered it for half of what I was willing to pay. Now it’s in the garage with the rest of the tool boxes, full of tools.
