We don’t worry about that here, so would we worry about that there!

    - At least it was a happy ending, kind of.

Is this arc an expose of the “pretext” of Dubya invading Iraq? If so, then why the he11 was he re-elected for a second term? How far back in history does American stupidity go??

It goes back as far as you can see.

There was a brief period from the 1930s to 1970s that the US adopted rationality and reason under pressure of existential threats.

But it was back to wishful thinking after that.

So I started searching for radioactive water iraq 2003. Nothing like this shows up, but there are articles about radiation poisoning from depleted uranium … what we used in tank ammo and other guns. Also, the last frame kind of resonates with stories about Iraqi looting of a damaged nuclear facility. That made me think of the people poisoned by radiation from some looted medical equipment in Brazil.

Now think about Musk and his dumb dogers laying off needed nuclear safety personnel. Stupid isn’t confined to other peoples.

A young person from Great Briton just reminded that in 1933 Germany passed the “Enabling Act”. That was just passed by the republicans and democrats today!

I’m currently reading “COVID-19 THE GREAT RESET”, Klaus Schwab and Thierry Malleret. The authors claim the pandemic has provided us a unique opportunity to reset 10 issues that led us to where we are today.

That yogurt could still have been used to extract the radium for a nuclear device or a dirty bomb. Look up David Hahn the young man who built one in his backyard shed, “And so, utilizing household items and a lead block as a stand-in reactor, Hahn got to work. He collected thorium from lanterns, radium from clocks, tritium from gunsights, and lithium from $1,000 worth of batteries he bought himself.” He subsequently died years later from complications due to radiation poisoning. Thankfully, his reactor never exploded.

I wish Doonesbury dailies were new again. We seem to be in an era ripe for some great political satire but at least we have the Sundays….

It’s probably radioactive from all the depleted uranium shells we left littering the Iraqi desert after the first invasion in 1991.

Little details like public health and safety are not important. The rich never touch the stuff. and who else matters?
