Yo dude, I know some guy called Olivier, rad!

I remember a Peanuts summer camp TV special in which Peppermint Patty answers the roll call with a boisterous “Yo!” and Violet and Patty glare daggers at her xD I’ve often imagined a scenario in which Violet and Patty turn up their noses at P. P. and end up on the receiving end of a “Pow!” from her. If Violet were to try her “My Dad… Your Dad” nonsense on Peppermint Patty that is what would surely happen!

I once had to leave the bus and start over just cuz an old schoolmate shouted, “Yahoo!” instead of “Here!” during the roll call for a field trip.

One, I didn’t know that “Yo!” was common slang at the time that Charles Schultz drew this strip. Two, I didn’t know the names of any of the birds who looked like Woodstock besides Woodstock until this morning.

Is this the only time we got names for anyone other than Woodstock? I can’t think of any others offhand.
