Launch Date Announced 🚀 The brand-new GoComics will be unveiled April 1! (No fooling). See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The advantage of an old-fashioned book is that it is immune to system outages. All you need is to go outside during the day or light a candle and you can continue to read.
I’m with her. Especially since you don’t actually “own” any of those e-books and your access to them and other digital goods (games especially) can be cut off with little or no notice.
I like both print books and ebooks. If I love a book or an author, I usually have the book on my Kobo reader, and in print, and on audio! (The ereader is great for reading in bed. Hurts less when you fall asleep and drop it on your face. Plus I can carry all my books around with me!!)
Ebooks/audiobooks are fine for library rentals, but ownership of digital materials is an illusion of corporate whim. I hope one day to have a home of my own with the walls reinforced with a fortress of paperbound tomes.

I’ve over 50 Kindle books, down-loaded onto my phone (French and English). I like to imagine how many trees I’ve saved…

Meanwhile, having discovered how to be a maniac, Spud is running through the halls, shouting “Wooloolooloo.”

Rose is a girl after my heart. I prefer analog books as well.

As long as people read. The delivery system doesn’t matter.
