Muffin is laughing because that’s where she did her business this morning.

/// Since his childhood, a huge Star Wars fan,

Tony grew up a “seek high-ground” man.

    With his Jedi robes on

    he cos-plays Obi Wan,

but without them, evokes Peter Pan.

There was a young fellow called Tone,

    Who’s ego was much overblown.

    He strutted around,

Like he owned all the town,

But the truth was he lowered the tone.

Tony’s “I’m king of the mountain!” pose is a crowning achievement.

Ever since he was a young boy

Tony took a great deal of joy

In watching ‘The Adventures of Superman’

    Being a most conscientious fan

Each episode he would sit rapt

In the glow of the cathode ray tube wrapped

    .

His parents bought him some pajamas

Like George Reeves wore in the TV dramas

Tony would run past his bedroom door

Pretending that like his hero he could soar

And upon his small mattress then dive

Great pleasure from this did he derive

    .

Tony was as a child always inspired

By the intro of which he never got tired

On TV where Superman held stance

Out above the Earth as Our Flag would dance

Arms akimbo among the planets and stars

(And perhaps a few far quasars)

    .

So whenever Tony came upon a rise

He got the irrepressible urge to reprise

    The ‘Superman March’ salutation

That stirred his youthful admiration …

Although to his neighbors it appeared

He was acting more than a little weird!

The dog is not impressed. Tony, you need to fix your pants if you want your swagger to work.

It would have been more impressive if Tony had remembered to zip up his fly.

Our Tony, a stance of great swagger,

    o’er Mildred, a Champion Nagger.

A Muffin loud bark, could change this tale’s arc,

    to one of a punchy man’s stagger…

Tony seeks to impress, the lovely gal in the dress, with arms akimbo, to attract the bimbo, but the pup may aggress.

Muffin is looking at him askew, but Mildred knows better than to make eye contact.

Gotta admit there have been times in my life when I have done the king on the mountain thing. But being so clumsy no one needed to knock me off my porch. I just tumble.
