Not a pretext—an excuse. And a lousy one at that!

Once again, there’s that Sword of Damocles hanging over our heads—namely, another government shutdown! Thank goodness, at least that won’t affect SS payments—unless #47 interferes!

Remember when our problems were caused by a stupid dishonest nepotism baby? Now our problems are caused by a preverted [sic because of the preverted censor bot] traitor to the United States of America?

I wouldn’t worry about that as the Dems in the Senate have folded. Of course AOC is using her massive social media presence (per the NYT) to have this reversed and have Schumer removed as Minority Leader. She wants the position. Some needs to tell her she’s not qualified as a member of the House of Representatives.

I was hoping a shutdown would put ego musk out of business for a while.

Interesting news this morning. A judge ordered that the federal employees illegally fired by the orange POS are going back to work.

The bright side of America’s abdication as the leader of the free world is that many other countries are picking up the torch that we dropped. King’s “arc of the moral universe” is alive and well, and the human race will continue to seek justice and crawl a bit further out of the caves, without being forced to check to see what America thinks about any moves they make. I’m ashamed to be an American, but a bit more proud of the human race in general.

Like the “pretext” that tariffs will be good for everyone and help make America great again?

I used to enjoy our radium dial Baby Ben alarm clock. I would hold it closely to my eyes in the dark and watch the flashes.

It never fails to amaze me how short~sighted and out of touch lieberals are with all their fretting over Trump’s dream team efforts to rebuild America from the 2021~25 nonstop assault by Beijing Obidumb’s misfit collection. Guess you goofs will just have to bear up and suffer the lower prices and taxes, safer streets, and more freedoms coming your way>>sob, sob.

Actually, radium on watch dials was phased out in the 1960s.
