Pancakes are a weekend treat

Mom only made pancakes when we had breakfast for supper.

Healthy cereal? Isn’t that an oxymoron. I saw a KitKat cereal in the cereal aisle the other day when I took a wrong turn.

What made you think your mom would in the mood to make something like that so early in the morning, especially since you have to get ready for school?

No such thing as a healthy cereal for diabetics but before that I liked Most.

My oldest daughter did that once, announcing what her mother was to fix her for breakfast. Her mother looked at her and “This isn’t IHOP but you’d better hop to it and get ready for school pronto!”

Ironically, I never order pancakes at IHOP. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns is just fine.

Just discovered a French Toast-flavored cereal
