Leashing a kid is safer and more comfortable for both the adult and the child. The child can walk at their own pace and doesn’t end up with an arm pulled out of its shoulder socket.
Because we’ve given away all of our power to a bunch of useless politicians who are destroying our country and it’s people. Unless it’s an E95 mask, it’s useless anyway.
I’ve known kids that needed to be on a leash! If the parent dropped the hand for even a split second that kid was G O N E! Putting a dog in a stroller though is just plain ignorant….Unless the dog is handicapped. Now days though I have seen several walking around with the special little apparatus with the wheels that they wear, so even then….
I work at Times Square, so I can definitely confirm these dog strollers are a common occurrence, it’s actually better than a 50/50 shot that a stroller will have a dog in it instead of a baby.
Thanks to the tiny, greasy print in my daily newspaper, I couldn’t tell what the joke was supposed to be. The dog in the stroller just looked like a pile of rags, or like a toddler swaddled up against the cold. Now I get it . . . and hey, hasn’t Crunchy lost weight?
I enjoy Jumpstart, but get frustrated with the haphazard way they do story arcs mixed with joke strips—like I mean why go to Sweden, have to go back to get Sunny to go to Sweden, and then only spend one strip (a Zoom joke) in Sweden and simply move on? Could there have been nothing to think of in Sweden storywise? :P
I KNOW THE FEELING!! The first time that I saw a dog in a stroller, was at my job in the cafeteria. I took a double look to make sure what I was looking at!!
I recently read a person asking for advice about their German Shepherd pup. He was getting nippy when people wanted to greet him in the stroller. Were they being over protective? I told them to ditch the stroller and tell strangers to not pet him. They were protecting their pup from the wrong thing. They were hoping to protect him from Parvo virus and instead of protecting him from big nosey strangers.

Why does everyone have a mask on when they all are outside and distanced?

Kid on a leash, dog in a stroller. Business as usual.

When my two were little, I shopped with the baby in the stroller and the 2 year old in a child harness attached to the stroller.

I agree with the Joe and Crunchy, though the mom with her child is better. Our dogs would never ride a baby carriage, they want to walk.

Dog in the stroller, toddler on a leash, and all anyone can comment on is damned masks.

Saw a woman pushing her dog in a stroller years ago in New Hampshire. Thought it was weird then and still think it is weird now.
