It’s always a great day when we see Toni, Brad could have you pick something more romantic.

That reminds me of the sad story of Mary and Nick Yankovic, the parents of Weird Al. They both died in their sleep on the same night, because there was an undetected carbon monoxide leak in their house.

So let’s go do something dangerous together!

So what about next week? Something new or more about Luann’s blank slate? I think the story will continue as Luann explores her new sense of empowerment. Probably with Bernice who will think it won’t last.

And Herman and Virginia cremains are in one urn, on one of their children’s mantelpiece.

What just happened here? Did Brad and Toni make some kind of death pact?

Oh well, neither of them had to deal with losing the other…

Awww, the Mrs. an I steal hugs from each other ever chance we get.

I think they’re just appreciating each other, inspired by the story of an old couple with a long and presumably beautiful relationship in which they were so in sync that they died together. Makes the cuddles more meaningful.

Toni and Brad are so happy and wonderful together. I wish I could a marriage like theirs.

I usually dread the Sunday strip, but this is just sweet and satisfying.

These two are so romantic and in love that it’s impossible not to love them. Really, really sweet.

When I saw this I couldn’t help but think about how much they both have changed. If they were real people, I would love to have them as friends.

Truth. There are a lot of examples out there of that obit he’s reading.

It shows how people are too committed to their phones, put down the phones and talk to real people!

My parents were married 74 years and four months. They died last December twelve hours apart – to the minute. Mama was heard telling Daddy, a few days before: “You’ll have to go first. I’m not leaving without you.”

That is so sad/beautiful.

And on the opposite side of the spectrum, I’m reminded of Alan King’s routine “Survived by his wife.” If you haven’t heard/seen it, you might like it. Available on the internet.

Share every moment. We don’t ever know what our last moment will be.

I knew a couple. She was diagnosed with cancer. She came home and told him, and he dropped dead of a heart attack. She died a few days later.

Baucis and Philemon

I had 2 sets of married relatives where the husband died 3 weeks or less after the wife. In one case the husband had dementia and was not told his wife died, but he knew something was wrong when she didn’t come to see him every day.

I had an aunt & uncle who died 4 days apart

Karen & Greg should just make every Sunday strip with Brad & Toni. It keeps them relevant and gives us a break from the tangential soap opera theyLuann strip has become.

How would anyone know that? Was there an euthanasia party? :(

I like that.

Lucky are those who find such true love.

For some, 70 years together sounds good.

To some, 7 days together is too long.

This happens more often than people would think.

Life is truly precious with our loved ones. Cherishing every moment is especially important! We do not know when the last moment will be, and we are never ready for it. I was not when my spouse passed away. I miss her every single day I am alive. I am going forward with wonderful memories!

Nothing like talking about people dying to get the juices flowing.

That’s what my husband and I wanted. But he left way too early :(

That’s right, kids — keep your priorities straight.
